In a calm space that makes use of an old folk house, the style of taking off your shoes to enter is quite comfortable. When I sit at the counter overlooking the garden, a large cup of handmade mug and matcha bowl tea is brought to me, allowing me to take a relaxing breath. The self-service milky soba broth can be poured from the pot as much as you like, and it is fragrant and warms the body. The 100% buckwheat soba served on a large plate resembling a tile is thick and glossy, and the flavor spreads firmly with each bite. Two types of dipping sauce are prepared: one with grated daikon and the other with green onions and wasabi, making the change in flavors enjoyable. Thanks to the rule prohibiting smartphone use, I was able to focus on the soba and the dishes in front of me, and I had a wonderful time naturally engaging in conversation.
