The interior of the renovated 100-year-old house has a peaceful atmosphere with the warmth of wood and natural light. Antique furniture and hand-painted menus add color, and the nostalgic atmosphere gently envelops visitors.

Opened in an old house in Katsunuma-cho, Yamanashi Prefecture. It is not only a café, but is also a popular hub of interaction in the community where exhibitions of local artists and musical events are held. It is loved as a place that connects people to each other and to the land.

Junko Koide is the owner of "Machi Guide & Cafe Tugurasya". She has experience working at a winery and has a good knowledge of wine. After working at the Koshu City Tourist Information Center, she now works as a guide at the café, serving dishes that make the most of local ingredients and showing visitors from inside and outside of the prefecture what the city has to offer.
