The counter seats are easy to use, and you can have a quick drink. The menu is wide-ranging, and it's fun to choose from the daily specials. The squid sashimi is sweet and sticky, and even the side dishes are delicious. The live whelk is crunchy, and you can enjoy the rich liver as well. The daikon in the oden is well-soaked with flavor, making it very satisfying. There are also dishes that go well with alcohol, such as peppery shiitake mushrooms and steamed pork with kimchi.
