A hidden gem where you can savor the ingredients of the Naruto Strait and the blessings of Yamanashi

Shunsai Oguraya is a hidden kaiseki restaurant located in Ikegiri Ohashi, featuring seafood from the Naruto Strait and organic vegetables. You can enjoy dishes made with plenty of Koshū pork, duck, and seasonal organic vegetables, with the particularly popular "takikomi gohan" allowing you to fully appreciate the flavors of the ingredients. The menu, utilizing fresh produce from Yamanashi, the chef's hometown, further enhances the depth of the dishes.

【Tokyo Ikebukuro】 A hidden kaiseki restaurant recommended by an acquaintance. It seems that reservations are essential as it is almost fully booked even on weekdays. ★ 2-31-18 Ikebukuro, Setagaya, Tokyo, Lime 2F A la carte ◇ Autumn seasonal vegetables assorted platter I chose mushroom ohitashi, simmered eggplant, and watercress with vinegar. ◇ Sawara sashimi ◇ Freshly shaved bonito flakes ◇ Green vegetables with karasumi This dish was irresistible for karasumi lovers. ◇ Sendai beef shabu-shabu with sansho leaf ponzu The meat was tender and the seasoning was delicious. ◇ Today's grilled fish: grilled eel It was tastier than I expected! Fluffy. ◇ Naruto fresh fish miso soup ◇ Red miso soup The dishes, which incorporate seasonal organic vegetables sourced mainly from seafood in the Naruto Strait and the chef's hometown of Yamanashi, evoke a sense of comfort rather than stimulation, providing a reassuring taste. I was fortunate to find a good restaurant in an area I rarely visit. Thank you for the meal.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels happy to be able to experience the season through food, thinking "I'm almost done eating corn" or "It's the season for delicious autumn fish" 🍁. This is a restaurant that I would like to invite you to visit 😌. In addition to the sake and shochu menu, we also have a wide variety of wines, so I think that even those who like to drink will enjoy themselves 🍷. The simple and clean restaurant has a nice terrace when you go up the stairs, and it has a good atmosphere, suitable for any occasion, and the courses start from 5,000 yen, so the cost is not bad 👏. I will definitely visit again at the change of season. ☃️ ▶︎ Area & Genre Search
