This shop, with glass walls on Yanagikouji, has a casual atmosphere that makes it easy to just drop in. A variety of obanzai (traditional Japanese side dishes) are lined up at the counter, and you can choose what you want to eat while listening to a detailed explanation. The firefly squid is fresh and plump, and the mixed turnip and chicken dish has a gentle flavor that warms the heart. You can compare different types of sake, such as dry and fruity, which pair perfectly with the food. There are also options like draft beer, umeshu (plum wine), shochu, and unusual gin and tonic, all served in beautiful glasses that allow you to enjoy the aroma as well. You are quickly shown to your seat, making it a comfortable place, and I found myself exclaiming how delicious everything was multiple times.

Dishes like firefly squid and turnip with chicken, and stir-fried salmon with mushrooms all have a homemade taste that is satisfying. The drinks include both sake and Western liquors, and the aromatic gin and tonic is served in a clear glass, which lifts your spirits. The pairing of the drink and the food is excellent, making it easy to enjoy. It's also convenient for a quick break, and I felt a sense of comfort.
