Fascinating shiny udon noodles ♡♡♡♡♡♡ I have always wanted to go to this restaurant. I had always wanted to go to this restaurant because I had seen it on SNS and was attracted by its shiny noodles. It was a little far from my office and I had heard that there was a line at lunch time, so I had not tried it. One day, I had a craving for udon and finally paid a visit! Near Cat Street. In front of the restaurant, there is a yellow kitchen car with dashimaki sandwiches that I have seen on SNS. Kamatama-yama is udon noodles with yam added. The udon noodles that were brought to us were shiny and beautifully rolled up, just like the rumors said. The visual is so appetizing that it is almost enough to whet your appetite. The udon is served with the yolk mixed in. The noodles are very long! I was told that this restaurant is run by a former owner of Shin in Shinjuku, I knew they were somewhat similar. After eating a little, I topped it with kashiwa-ten (fish cake). The combination of yam and tempura batter was indescribably delicious. The price is very reasonable compared to other lunches in the area! Side snack: Chicken thigh tataki m ▷Niku gobo (udon noodles) cold n ▷Geso tempura (bukkake) cold Freshly made, freshly cut, freshly boiled Udon lovers can't get enough of this ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡! They also have side dishes that you can enjoy like an izakaya (Japanese style bar). Next time I come here, I'm sure I'll have to wait in line.

I was curious about this udon restaurant on Cat Street. I visited there while I was in the neighborhood, as it was recommended by a follower. A large bowl of udon noodles with a side of tempura (850 yen) The location is good, the interior is stylish, and the price is reasonable, so there's nothing to complain about. I don't know if it was by chance or as usual, but on the day I visited, the restaurant did not open at 11:30 a.m. and I had to wait outside in the rain. No apology or explanation for the delay. There were four male waiters that day, all with beards, and the plates in the restaurant were Doraemon and Dragon Ball, which was a nice touch that broke the image of a traditional udon restaurant. If you can't keep the opening time and don't explain and apologize, it's "just a naughty store"!

Tempura dipped in broth is also great! Second noodle scattering. It was the day after drinking alcohol, so I was in the mood for some dashi broth. Especially on the day after drinking, I prefer udon to ramen. So I went here without hesitation. It was past 12:30 on a weekday, so I thought it might be crowded, But I was able to get in just in time! I ordered the udon noodles with meat and burdock tempura. I ordered cold broth, so the meat and tempura were served separately. (The fat clumps together.) Udon noodles rolled up tightly in the broth, The hearty meat was sweet and tasty! Four large pieces of gobo-ten (burdock root tempura)! The great thing about this place is that the tempura is delicious as well as the udon! A trendy udon shop opened in Harajuku: ☺︎ The name is Menzan: ❗️ Menchirashi: ☺︎ The interior and fixtures in the store are stylish: ❗️ It has a classy yet street-like atmosphere that is typical of Harajuku: ❗️ There is a wide variety of udon on the menu, and I ordered the Tsukimi Hiyakake for 550 yen: ☺︎ The waiter put grated yam in it by mistake, but it was served to me. The waitress seemed to have mistakenly added grated yam to my order, so she served it to me. The noodles are silky to the touch and the flavor and aroma of komugi (wheat noodles) fills your mouth. ☺︎ It is delicate yet filling and will fill your stomach. ❗️ The price is cheap. ❗️ I would definitely stop by again when I go to Harajuku. ☺︎ It will be more crowded next time I go...
