I wandered into a bright and cheerful restaurant specializing in chicken and dumplings, located just next to Toranomon Hills, in a small alley called Koto Koji. You can order using a QR code on your smartphone, allowing you to calmly choose from the menu while seated. The Satsuma Chiran chicken tataki has an excellent texture, and when combined with sweet soy sauce, grated ginger, and garlic, the umami flavor expands even further. The Kyoto-style thin-skinned dumplings are crispy on the outside, and the accompanying miso sauce is irresistibly delicious. The chicken thighs grilled on a hot plate are also fragrant, and the juicy meat juices spread throughout your mouth, creating a happy feeling. The energetic shouts from the staff and the lively atmosphere typical of an alleyway combine to make it a fun place where you naturally end up staying longer.
