At a Japanese restaurant in Osaka, I couldn't help but exclaim when the enormous abalone was presented. The slowly steamed flesh was surprisingly tender, and the flavor of the sea spread throughout my mouth. The rice, cooked in a pot, allowed me to freely add my favorite side dishes, and I enjoyed a little bit of marinated fish and beef shigureni. The warm soba with a hint of sansho that I ordered to finish was refreshing and easy to eat even when I was full. Each creatively plated dish with vegetables was vibrant and beautifully reflected the seasons. On my way out, I received a gift of corn rice, allowing me to savor the experience at home as well.

High-class kaiseki cuisine. The menu changes with the seasons, so you won't get bored even if you go every month, and it's truly delicious. Definitely a treat for special occasions.
