When I stopped by casually, I was welcomed by a warm atmosphere at the counter. The owner, dressed in a kimono and an apron, greeted me with a smile, making it very comfortable. The intricate paper cuttings adorning the entire wall caught my eye, making me want to stay longer. There is a wide variety of drinks available, and I was delighted to enjoy bottled beer and even rare matatabi sake. The young chicken cooked in coffee was moist, with a subtle roasted flavor that became addictive. There was also a rich and thick chicken liver pâté, as well as a refreshing cucumber and myoga pickled dish, which kept the drinks flowing without getting boring until the end.
