I am happy that I can easily taste the local specialties of Oita. The fried chicken is small but juicy, with a firm coating and a hint of garlic aroma. The chicken and burdock rice is filled with burdock, carrots, and fried tofu, and the flavor of the chicken is well infused. Despite being a simple combination, it pairs perfectly and I can't stop eating. The chicken tempura has just the right amount of seasoning, and it's delicious whether served with mustard or on its own. I also noticed the burdock rice balls, which are just the right amount and easy to eat.
