I ordered "Ichifuji's Special Motsu Kamameshi" (1,380 yen), which I had decided beforehand. The cooking starts after the order is placed, so there is a bit of a wait, but it doesn't bother me at all because the friendly owner talks to me. First, a small bowl of shigureni and salad arrives. As soon as I took a bite of the shigureni, I found myself drinking sake! (I mean, why didn't I drink it?) Of course, with white rice, I could easily finish a bowl of sake. The next dish of nuka-zuke (pickles) arrived, and the soaking conditions were perfect. It makes me even more eagerly awaiting the main course. The main course is served. When I stirred the rice with a rice scoop, motsu and other ingredients were rumbling from the inside. To be honest, I thought the price was a bit aggressive for a main course of kamahan, but I was very impressed with the amount of ingredients in the dish. The amount was about two regular bowls of rice, and the miso soup was delicious, making for a full lunch. We finished with apricot pudding for dessert. Next time, I would like to come at night.
