Ryouri to Osake Okina-ya

Enjoy Italian cuisine, carefully selected wines, and lemon sours made with lemons from Setoda, Hiroshima, in a relaxed atmosphere. The names of the dishes are written in an easy-to-understand manner, making it easy to imagine the characteristics and flavors of the ingredients. The drink menu includes a handwritten list of drinks with detailed descriptions of their characteristics, providing a fun way to choose.

In Setagaya, a local but well-known area dotted with famous restaurants, Mr. Seimiya found the ideal property after two years of preparation. The interior was designed with a high counter, high chairs, and wood as the basic tone, all while keeping costs in mind. From the counter seating arrangement, to the sloping ceilings and table widths, the design takes into account the water environment and operational efficiency.

Cuisine and Sake Okinaya opened in front of Shoin-jinja Shrine on August 10, 2023. Utilizing his extensive experience in a variety of restaurants, he aims to create a restaurant that can be enjoyed for a wide range of occasions, from everyday use to special occasions.

Takeo Kiyomiya grew up in a family of craftsmen and learned the basics of Italian cuisine at "Chianti Iikura Katamachi" after graduating from high school. He later gained experience in various restaurants and realized his dream of becoming independent. He focused on gaining the necessary experience for himself and opened "Cuisine and Sake: Okinaya".
