Hakata Hotaru Nishinakasu Honten

OSA Winery is a self-owned winery located in Otaru City, Hokkaido. It uses a three-story stone warehouse that is about 100 years old, providing an environment suitable for brewing and storing wine.

Variety Niagara 95% (Yoichi Toyoka 93% and Otaru Shioya 2%) and Zweigeltrebe 5% (Yoichi Town Toyoka) *All from OSA WINERY own vineyard. Taste: Gentle dry. Pleasantly fine bubbles. Fresh and abundant acidity from the attack, with a well-balanced richness, and a long finish that feels soft and sweet in the later part.

This is a sparkling wine that makes everyday delicious and lifts your spirits a little more than usual. It is a slightly dry blend of Delaware grapes from Yoichi and Tabiji. The secondary fermentation in the bottle leaves some cloudiness, so please enjoy the change as the fresh flavor develops and the umami blends in over time.

Light and slightly dry. The alcohol is low, making it refreshing and easy to drink. It has a clean acidity, with juicy fruit flavors and a hint of bitterness, leaving a sweet aroma that lingers in the nose.

Soft attack, clean fruit flavor. The acidity is firm, but it has a roundness and a calm, settled taste. A unique wine with a moist umami similar to junmai sake, and a soft astringency on the finish. Pairs well with all types of Japanese cuisine. It has a refined astringency that connects with dashi, so I hope you enjoy it slowly at the dining table without chilling it too much.

This wine is said to have originated in Otaru, utilizing the vibrant and unique aroma and flavor of the grape 'Tabiji'. It is crafted to complement Otaru sushi. The wine features aromas reminiscent of Japanese citrus and ginger, with a rich and rounded acidity, and a refreshing taste that carries a light astringency derived from Tabiji, making it a dry wine.

A dry rosé wine made from 100% Zweigelt grapes from our own vineyard. It is recommended to serve at around 14 degrees, not too chilled. This is a wine that can be enjoyed casually.
