The counter is made of bright white wood, and you feel a sense of comfort the moment you enter. The warm banter between the chef and his wife is pleasant, and conversation flows naturally. The appetizers, such as a plate of tuna and a dish resembling name-rou, as well as the crab in sauce, are creatively presented and keep your chopsticks moving. In particular, the abalone liver sauce paired with the rice is exquisite, bringing a smile to my face. The sushi, including squid and white fish aged with kelp, as well as red meat and eel, has an excellent balance with the rice. The sake was also chosen by the proprietress, and it paired surprisingly well with the dishes, making for a happy time until the very end.
