A long-established soba and udon restaurant with a calm atmosphere

Udon Soba Matsumoto is a historic establishment where the fourth-generation owner honed his skills at a soba kaiseki restaurant in Tokyo. You can enjoy hand-made 2:8 soba and a diverse menu, with each dish impressively crafted with delicacy. The interior features counter seating and tatami rooms, allowing you to enjoy your meal in a spacious and relaxed environment. Be sure to try the flavors that have been loved by locals for many years.

It is located in a somewhat hard-to-find place, but it has a calm atmosphere and is comfortable. The handmade 2:8 soba is thin, has a good aroma, and can be slurped easily. The dipping sauce has a strong flavor that pairs well with seaweed and quail eggs. The soboro don with rich dashi and the combination of tororo and seiro also provide a sense of satisfaction. Inside the restaurant, there is a soba-making area visible through glass, which gives a sense of dedication. There is a tatami room that makes it easy to use even with children, and the staff's attentiveness is pleasant.
