"Gassan" is a restaurant where you can enjoy a friendly atmosphere and homemade Japanese dishes. Run by a mother and her son, who manages the kitchen and the dining area respectively, it exudes a warm, familial vibe. The fresh sashimi and dishes that highlight the quality of the ingredients are particularly exquisite. Additionally, engaging in conversation with the smiling mother is one of the joys of visiting each time.

Seafood dishes are diverse and it's fun to choose. The set meals come with rice and miso soup, which is comforting. Grilled fish is especially my favorite, and it goes well with white rice. The sashimi is fresh, and there are dishes with just the right amount of vinegar, which makes me satisfied. The service is smooth, and there is no stress from waiting times. It's close to the station and easy to enter, with options for seating, making it comfortable to spend time alone.
