I eat too much bean curd even though I know it gives me a stomach ache. The DNA of a famous restaurant that has been passed down from generation to generation - "Chili Lengua" - | KitanMeshi.com Chili Renge" is a revolutionarily good Szechuan bean curd. The homemade raayu and sansho (Chinese chili pepper) oil is what keeps customers coming back for more. This dish is so addictive that you will forget about the sweat that comes out of your eyes, and we want everyone to try it. We will introduce other Chinese dishes as well. Store Information Chili Renge 5 minutes walk from Awaza Station Budget: ¥3,000~¥5,000 Vacation: Sunday. Business hours: (Lunch) 11:30~14:30, (Dinner) 17:30~22:30. Table. Private rooms: None. Private parking: None. Private room: No. Private parking space: No. Private parties: Possible. Smoking is allowed in all areas (No smoking during lunch time). Visited on March 23, 2019 Appearance. A 5-minute walk southeast from Awaza Station. It is located in a secluded area with few pedestrians. You can see the whole restaurant from the outside, so it is easy to drop in (whether there are seats available or not is another story). Inside view A popular atmosphere. The restaurant has six counter seats and three tables for four people. There was also a single female customer at the counter. Dishes Steamed chicken with scallion oil sauce ¥1,180 Only a sauce with plenty of chopped green onions. No unnecessary seasoning is added, allowing you to enjoy the original flavor of the steamed chicken. The oily but not cloying, refreshing flavor was impressive. Crispy spring roll ¥1,000 The spring roll is so large that you hesitate to bite into it. The filling is a thick Chinese red pepper paste, which makes a huge impact even if you eat it without any sauce. Although spring rolls are usually considered a side dish, this one has the presence of a main dish. Wok-fried green vegetables with garlic and ginger ¥1,080 This is a strange dish that allows you to enjoy the garlic and ginger flavor that will leave a bad taste in your mouth, but in a healthy way. The crunchy texture is probably the reason. It is delicious. Wok-fried chicken with Sichuan pepper ¥1,280 The spiciness of the chili pepper blends with the oil to create a nice spicy flavor. The spiciness of the chili pepper blends with the oil to create a nice spicy flavor, but sometimes sweet cashew nuts appear and make the dish milder. It is a fun dish to eat. By the way, I died when I bit into a chili pepper to try it. It blew fire. Be careful. Szechuan Bean Curd Bean Curd ¥1,280 The MVP of this restaurant. My tongue and lips were numb, and sweat was pouring from my forehead. Despite such a situation, the hand holding the spoonful of tofu never stops but accelerates. The spicy and peculiar taste of homemade raayu and sansho oil. The overwhelming presence of the generous amount of minced meat in the dish. The sludge that dominates the inside of the mouth. All of these factors combine to create an agonizingly delicious dish. When ordering, you can choose to have it "extra spicy" or "more sibire". However, even the default is quite spicy (I am not a spicy person), so I recommend you to choose carefully. Homemade apricot bean curd ¥600 I ordered this dish to rest my mouth from the spicy bean curd, so I don't remember much about the taste. I am sorry (laugh). That was the end of my meal. The dishes are generally hearty, and appropriate for sharing by two or three people. Please refer to the ordering guide! Drinks There is a wide variety of alcoholic beverages such as Shaoxing wine and Chinese fruit wine. A glass of draft beer is priced at 600 yen, which is high for a Chinese restaurant. Budget Approx. 10,000 yen (for two people) The average price of most of the dishes is over ¥1,000 per dish, but as mentioned above, the total price is reasonable because of the generous portions. There are two types of courses. 6 courses ¥3,5007 courses ¥5,500 (minimum of 2 persons, reservation required by the previous day). Recommended for those who are concerned about their budget or for private parties. Ingredients The restaurant's attention to detail is evident in the use of homemade raayu (Chinese chili oil) and homemade sansho (Japanese pepper) oil for the bean-curd soup. The raayu is sold separately, so if you like it, please try it. Impressions The owner is from the famous restaurant "OIL" in Fukushima. He has inherited the menu and style of the restaurant almost exactly as it was. That is the reason for the oily seasoning including the mapo tofu. You can certainly feel the DNA of the famous restaurant. It is said that at lunch time, people line up every day for the Bean Curd. It is a dish that captivates the palates of office workers. I created a "Bean Curd Special" before, but now it has become necessary to create a second one (laughs). Let me say it one last time. The marbo-deep-fried tofu is agonizingly delicious, so please come and try it! ↓ blog version here↓. https://kitameshi.com/kitameshi/chirirenge/

♡ 2020.7.18 Mr. Chili Renge, Awaza I've been wanting to go to Chili Lenge for a long time, but I haven't been able to make it. Chili Renge is a restaurant that I've been wanting to go to for a long time, but I haven't been able to go yet. When it opened, there was a long line of people waiting to get in! The menu was of course the Bean Curd Lunch. The portions are generous and the rice refills are free! I think it's a great deal for less than 1,000 yen! I think it's a very good deal ✧︎*. The bean curd is naturally delicious ¨¨♡︎ I can't explain it because I don't have much experience with spices. Not only is it spicy, but it has a great flavor! There is no cloying taste. It made me sweat so much! I wanted to have more rice, but But I finished it with only one bowl! Ohhhh it was delicious ( ¨ )❥︎❥︎

✔️ Awaza, Osaka ✔️ Chili Renge ------------------------------------------------------- A simultaneous delicious attack of meat, tofu, and green onions. Once last, Chinese gourmet 🙋🏻‍♂️ I visited this restaurant in Awaza, Osaka, because I was told that they serve a very good bean curd lunch. We visited at past 12:00 on a weekday, and the wait was about 10 minutes. There were fried rice, Chinese rice bowl, and the daily special, but of course, this was the one I ordered this time! ◆Ma-bo Tofu Lunch (¥950) My first impression was that it was very brightly colored, unlike the other dark-brown bean curd! The homemade hot sauce spread around the tofu is simply beautiful. The moment you put it in your mouth, you will be attacked from three directions at once. First, the flavor of the coarsely minced meat, then the crunchiness of the green onions, and finally the fluffiness of the tofu all come together to make a statement 🥺❤️ The spiciness of the well-known Szechuan pepper follows with a delay. There is no other choice but to escape to the rice... This loop continued forever, and I finished it in a second while fighting against the spiciness. LOL! This is a taste that I can never make at home. If they made Uber eats, I would seriously eat it on a regular basis. ------------------------------------------------------- Genre: Chinese food, Szechuan food Food log: 3.58 Budget: ☀️-999 Nearest station: 5 minutes walk from Awaza station The restaurant is located in the center of Tokyo, a few minutes walk from Awaza station.

Chili Renge is a popular Chinese restaurant in Awaza! Of course, my lunch stop was for the "Mapo Tofu Set Meal"! This restaurant is famous as one of the most popular and talented restaurants in Osaka! The timing was pretty good, as there was a wait of five people at 12:00 noon! Soon after that, more and more people started coming in, until there were about 10 people... They took our orders while we were waiting in line, and 90% of the orders were for Bean Curd with Bean Paste! I chose the very spicy large portion of the Bean-curd Tofu Set Meal (1,300 yen). I was lucky enough to be able to enter the restaurant within 5 minutes! After 5 minutes of waiting for our seats, our Bean Curd arrived! The atmosphere is clearly delicious and spicy, which is evident from the look of the food! One bite of the bean curd is extremely spicy! But at the same time, the delicious spicy flavor of the bean curd is also overwhelming, a sensation that is only possible with delicious bean curd! It is a shock of the same class as the first time I ate Fung Fung Tofu! It is too delicious! I usually don't have a rule not to have more white rice at lunch, but I thought rice was a must for this deliciousness, so I had more rice. In no time at all, I had finished a large bowl of Bean Curd with Bean Paste. If you like spicy bean curd with chili sauce, you should definitely ask them to make it spicier! Thank you very much for the meal! This is a must try, not only for the Bean Curd, but for the other dishes as well! food
