Petit Délirium Tap Café Shinjuku Southern Terrace

[Pierre Celis 5%] Pierre Celis revived white beer, but lost the Hoegaarden brewery to a fire, and it was sold to the world's largest beer company over 20 years ago. He mourned the fact that the taste was changed repeatedly, but he did not stop there. The god of white beer dedicated everything to brew a new white beer. That is this Ceris White. It evokes fruits like orange and grapefruit.

[Pierre Celis 5.5%] The last white beer challenged by the god of white beer, Pierre Celis, following Hoegaarden White and Celis White. Compared to Celis White, its spicy and full-bodied flavor surpasses that of any other white beer. This beer uses yeast from the St. Bernardus brewery, making it a true collaboration between Mr. Celis and this brewery.

[Karakoram Brewery 5.5%] A white beer from the Karakoram Brewery in Namur, southern Belgium. This beer, which means 'cloudy', has a refreshing acidity reminiscent of lemon, and there is no similar white beer in Belgium. The only brewery in Belgium that heats its brewing kettle with firewood is this brewery, reflecting their approach of slowly seeking flavor, like a 'snail'.

[Rio Brewing & Co. 6%] Without using spices, this beer is crafted to express the beauty of Japanese beer that does not overshadow the delicate aesthetics of Japan, with an alcohol content of 5%, similar to many beers consumed in Japan. It is made considering pairing with meals, using ingredients like wheat malt and dry hopping, as a product for the Japanese palate. As the name 'First Battle' suggests, it is a product meant to be enjoyed as the very first beer with a meal.

[Brewed by Huyghe Brewery 8.5%] This beer, which means 'hallucinations caused by alcohol addiction,' is high in alcohol but is so easy to drink that you might find pink elephants, dragons, and crocodiles appearing before your eyes. Compared to draft beer, it has a strong body, making it great for tasting comparisons.

[Huyghe Brewery 9%] Brewed by Huyghe Brewery to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the French Revolution. Compared to Delirium Tremens, it has a reddish hue and body that evokes the taste of blood and guillotine. Despite the surreal brand name, the flavor is authentic. May it not lead to anything terrible, as the name Guillotine suggests.

[Van Steenberge Brewery 10.5%] Compared to Pilate 9%, it has a slightly reddish hue and a sweet aroma reminiscent of pears. Especially in the large bottle, the sweetness and alcohol sensation feel integrated like honey. This beer has been loved at Bel-Oub since its importation.

[St. Bernardus Brewery 8%] There exists a beer made at a monastery in West Flanders, called Westvleteren, which is often referred to as the best in the world. This brewery was established by inheriting that recipe. The Tripel, which began brewing there, has an orange color and a floral, fruity flavor, with a hint of bitterness that captivates people.

[Bosteels Brewery 8%] A traditional recipe using barley, wheat, and oats, discovered from the Karmeliet monastery, recreating a recipe that has been used for over 300 years. The sweet flavors and aromas reminiscent of pine and pear blend together in a special glass. The taste of the large bottle is also excellent.

[Lulu Brewery 8.4%] A small brewery run by three people. They received yeast from the Orval Monastery, located about 20 km away, and have adopted labor-intensive brewing methods such as direct fire mashing and opening the top of the fermentation tank, creating a unique flavor. Currently, the most famous Belgian beer critic, Tim Webb, includes this beer in his top 10 beers alongside Taras Boulba and Ixelles Bitter. The coexistence of bitterness and sweetness is superb.

[Kazoo Brewery 9%] The label features the bell cherry blossoms of Turnhout, said to be the oldest town in Belgium. This is Kazoo Brewery's newest beer, a true triple at 9%. It uses four types of hops, resulting in a strong aroma reminiscent of passion fruit.

[De Ranke Brewery 8.5%] This is the first beer they brewed seriously, which started as a hobby. Using high-quality hops from Poperinge, it is finished with dry hopping, where hops are added during fermentation, resulting in the best flavor. It has a rich aroma and taste of hops, as if you are enjoying the hop flowers themselves. The infusion of fresh hops also brings astringency due to the tannins. We recommend enjoying the essence of this beer in a large bottle as well. 750ml 2,700 yen

[De Dore Brewery 8.5%] Until the 1980s, Belgian beer was swept away by the wave of mass-produced beers, and many unique breweries disappeared one after another. During that time, doctors, lawyers, and architects began brewing beer as a hobby. Going against the flow of the times, they started to brew unique beers that only they could create. Here is an introduction to the triple beer from De Dore Brewery.

[De La Seine Brewery 4.5%] A surreal story from Gogol's novel 'Captain Burba', where a Russian soldier father falls in love with a Polish noblewoman from the enemy country and tries to kill his son who betrays him. This beer is brewed with a wish for peace, so that such stories do not occur in Belgium, where the federal system of Flanders and Wallonia continues. Despite having a lower alcohol content (4.5%) than Japanese beers, it maximizes the aroma and bitterness of hop flowers.

[De La Seine Brewery 6%] The place where Mr. Bernardo first started this brewery is said to be along the Zene River, where natural fermentation yeasts reside, in a region where lambic brewers gather. In this area, it is colloquially referred to as the Gene River. It has an orange-like hue, a mellow bitterness from the aromatic hop flowers, and a faint sweetness that can be felt within. This is the representative beer of this brewery and also the first beer that was announced.

[Contreras Brewery Alc. 6.5%] A brewery that has been operating quietly for about 200 years near Gent. A beer that emphasizes the flavor of hops through dry hopping. The aroma, bitterness, and sweetness of the hops are in exquisite balance!

[Karakor Brewery 8%] Karakor Brewery is located near Dinant in the Namur province, by a river flowing through a gentle valley. Dinant is the birthplace of Adolphe Sax, the inventor of the saxophone, and the presence of a snail (Karakor) holding a saxophone reflects this. A wonderful beer with a light aroma and flavor reminiscent of lemon peel, intertwined with the unique sweetness of the Walloon region.

[De Dolle Brouwers 8%] Mr. Chris, who is also an architect and painter, purchased the brewery that had been in use since 1835 with his brothers and began brewing beer as a hobby on weekends in 1980. It quickly became a brewery that beer lovers from around the world visit, as well as a place of relaxation for locals, from the elderly to children. Arabia is a blonde ale made with hops from Poperinge in West Flanders, which is nearby. The bitterness of the hops and the full-bodied flavor create enthusiastic fans.

[De Ranke Brewery 6.5%] A strong bitter blonde beer created by two weekend hobbyists, as the name suggests. Brewed to maximize the use of fresh Hallertau hops from Watou and Poperinge. Even the most discerning Belgian beer critic, Tim Webb, rated it five stars, the only blonde beer to receive such a distinction. The flavor changes due to secondary fermentation in the bottle, resulting in a noticeable difference in taste between the large and small bottles. Be sure to try it in the large bottle to experience the flavor.

[Lulu Brewery 7%] This is the first beer brewed by the young brewer Gregory. It is located in the Luxembourg province of Belgium, adjacent to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, about 20 km from the Orval Abbey. Early on, it incorporated Orval yeast and used Amarillo hops. This beer has a honey-like aroma and offers a remarkable taste that starts with a honey-like sweetness and gradually reveals bitterness. A masterpiece from Belgium's Luxembourg province.

[Kazoo Brewery Alc.6.7%] This beer is brewed at the only brewery in Tournai, the oldest city in Belgium. It has a unique sweetness characteristic of the Walloon region (only a little sugar is used for secondary fermentation), while also having a solid hop bitterness. It feels like a very interesting beer that combines the features of both Walloon blonde and saison beers. I learned when we met that Mr. Laurent and Mr. Gregory from Lulu Brewery have been friends since university. It's a small world!!

[Hughes Brewery Alc.7.5%] A blonde beer made with four types of malt and hops, revived from the recipe of the Averbode Abbey, founded in 1134. It has a floral aroma with hints of green apple, and a balance of bitterness and sweetness.

[Karakor Brewery 7.2%] The only brewery in the world that heats its kettle with fire from wood. It has a light roasted aroma and sweetness of orange and lemon, followed by a solid bitterness. Like the snail (Karakor), it has a refined taste unique to a small brewery that brews slowly and steadily.

[Bosteels Brewery 8%] Mr. Kwak, who ran a brewery and an inn, noticed that the passengers of the carriages stopping by the inn were unable to quench their thirst as they couldn't free their hands for their horses and fellow travelers. To solve this, he devised this glass so that they could drink while riding. It is said that he distributed his beer to everyone. This beer has a deep reddish-brown color and a long-lasting finish with a sweetness from the roasted malt.

[Dubuisson Brewery 12%] Known as Bush Amber in Belgium, it was forced to change its name in many countries due to a lawsuit by Anheuser-Busch, the company behind Budweiser. It has a fragrant alcoholic volume reminiscent of whiskey, with sweetness, spiciness, and a bitterness that comes later. Perfect for a final drink.

[St. Bernardus Brewery 6%] The rain that fell during the time of Joan of Arc became groundwater, which is drawn up from 150 meters underground to create this beer. It is filled with the unique aromas of this brewery, reminiscent of pear and vanilla, and a smooth, gentle sweetness dominates the palate. It is also customary to drink in the order of Pater, Prior, and Abt.

[St. Bernardus Brewery 8%] The St. Bernardus Brewery is located less than a 10-minute drive from the French border. Among Pater, Perle, and Abt, this is the most balanced dark brown ale. It has a sweetness reminiscent of hazelnuts and bananas, with a spicy, long-lasting finish that lingers in the nose.

[St. Bernardus Brewery 10%] Known among beer enthusiasts and critics as one of the best beers in the world. This beer began brewing in 1946 after receiving the recipe from the 'Saint Sixtus Abbey,' which brews the 'Westvleteren Abt,' said to be the best beer in the world. With an aroma reminiscent of ginjo sake, a rich body, and a spicy, long finish that follows, it convinces you of its status as a top-tier beer. Perfect as the last drink. The essence of this beer is found in the large bottle.

[Van Steenberge Brewery 7.5%] Originally, this brewery had a farm next door where goats were kept. The name Rout Bock, meaning 'Happy Goat', features a uniquely shaped glass that is one of the most distinctive in Belgium, known for being difficult to hold. Be careful not to spill it when you're drunk. You will be able to fully enjoy the roasted flavor of the malt.

[Huyghe Brewery 8.5%] This beer was brewed in 1999 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Delirium Tremens. True to its name, which means 'nighttime alcohol addiction,' it is best enjoyed late at night. The roasted malt offers a wonderful aroma, complemented by sweetness reminiscent of orange, pineapple, and tropical fruits, along with a subtle hint of acidity.

[Van Steenberge Brewery 10.5%] The bell tower group in Belgium is recognized as a World Heritage site, and since the year 1111, Gouden Draak has been towering over the bell tower of the ancient city of Ghent in East Flanders, Belgium, looking down on Ghent. This beer has a momentarily soft mouthfeel, but its rich body and brandy-like flavor balance are outstanding, rivaling any other beer.

[De Dorre Brewery 9%] Until the 1980s, Belgian beer was swept away by the wave of mass-produced beers, and many unique breweries disappeared one after another. During this time, doctors, lawyers, and architects began brewing beer as a hobby. Going against the trend of the times, they started to brew unique beers that only they could create. This beer is the first of those, and it carries the meaning of 'our' and 'original.' Using yeast from Flanders red beer, it has strong carbonation, a taste of acidity and roast, all of which are distinctive.

[Lulu Brewery 6.5%] The brewery started with the intention of brewing only Lulu Blonde, but aimed for further flavor by brewing a dark brown ale using Orval yeast. They incorporated various techniques unique to small breweries, such as opening the top of the fermentation kettle, which created a taste unlike any other. The moment it touches your mouth, you can feel the roasted malt's toasty aroma and a floral scent, but it smoothly goes down your throat with a bitterness.

[Karakoram Brewery 9%] Initially brewed as a Christmas beer by Karakoram Brewery (snail), it has become a beer brewed year-round. True to its name, drinking this beer provides a level of satisfaction that makes you feel that it would be fine if the world ended, with a sweetness reminiscent of a citrus dessert.

[De Ranke Brewery Alc.9%] Noir means 'black' in French, and Dottignies is the name of the town where De Ranke Brewery is located. Dottignies is part of the French-speaking Hainaut province in Belgium, and the brewers from the northern Dutch-speaking region wanted to create a beer rooted in that town, leading to the birth of this beer. This is the first dark beer they brewed, placing great importance on fresh hop flowers. It is a product where the floral aroma and the roasted scent of malt blend exquisitely.

[De La Seine Brewery/Rio Brewing & Co. 4.5%] After three years of planning, the world's first Belgian Chocolate Stout brewed in Belgium. Co-brewed with brewer Bernardo. Available only at the renowned establishments 'Mouden Lambic' in Japan and Brussels. Instead of chocolate, chocolate malt is used, providing a rich malt flavor with a refreshing bitterness from three additions of hops. A beer that serves as a bridge between Belgian culture and Japan.

[Shire Brewery Alc. 8%] The most voluminous beer from the Shire Brewery, which has been in operation for six generations since 1850. It has a woody aroma reminiscent of hazelnuts, which may set it apart from traditional Scotch ales. A full-bodied beer with a wonderful balance of bitterness that lingers. It pairs well with meat dishes, blue cheese, and nuts.

[Kazoo Brewery Alc. 7.6%] It is a stout type that is rare in Belgium, but it is not exactly what is referred to as a stout; rather, it could be said to be a fusion of Belgian beer and stout? The rich body of Belgian beer is followed by a subtle acidity and a dry yet aromatic bitterness. This exquisite intertwining of flavors is, according to the brewer, 'just the taste that I like.'

[Verhaeghe Brewery 5.4%] The label depicts a cow used to pull this tool for plowing the fields. It employs a brewing method traditional to West Flanders, where it is aged in oak barrels for about a year and a half. This results in a well-balanced red beer with a sweet and sour flavor reminiscent of grapes.

[Verhaeghe Brewery 6.2%] The brand name 'Princess of the Duchy of Burgundy' is depicted on the label. It is a blend of 9-month and 18-month aged Flanders Red brewed at Verhaeghe Brewery. It features a complex sweetness reminiscent of various fruits such as grapes, passion fruit, and green apples.

[De Ranke Brewery 7%] A blend of beer using yeast from the Rodenbach Brewery, which was used before being acquired by the Girardin Brewery, proposed by De Ranke Brewery as a new style of lambic never seen before. This is a genuine blended lambic that can be enjoyed even by those who are not fond of the intense sourness of lambic. By soaking cherries for more than six months, De Ranke Kriek is created.

[Lulu Brewery 5.2%] Estival means summer. The brewer's belief is that a beer meant to be enjoyed in the summer requires more than just a smooth finish. This challenge at a low alcohol content achieves the perfect balance of moderate body, sweetness, and bitterness, while simultaneously quenching people's thirst. The brewing method that avoids the use of spices, which is his particular focus, makes for an interesting summer beer.

[Jandran Brewery 6.5%] A small, small brewery located in the gentle hilly area on the way from Brussels to Liège. The saison beer brewed with dry hopping, where hop flowers are infused during fermentation, is unique and offers a refreshing taste and a floral, light aroma that is superb.

[Jandran Brewery 7%] 'Cense' means farm in French. It has a slight reddish hue and is a saison beer created after Four Saison. In addition to four ingredients, spices are used, and it is said to be a beer that can be experienced through all five human senses, hence the name Five Sense. [De La Seine Brewery/Rio Brewing & Co. 4.5%] The world's first Belgian chocolate stout, brewed in Belgium after three years of planning.

7.6%] It is a stout type that is rare in Belgium, but it is not exactly what is typically called a stout; rather, it can be described as a fusion of Belgian beer and stout. The rich body of Belgian beer is followed by a subtle acidity and a dry yet aromatic bitterness. This exquisite combination of flavors is, according to the brewer, 'just the taste that I like.'

[Verhaeghe Brewery 5.4%] The label features a cow that is used to pull this tool for plowing the fields.

[Lulu Brewery 5.2%] Estival means summer. The brewer's belief is that a beer meant for summer drinking requires more than just a smooth finish. This challenge at a low alcohol content achieves the perfect balance of moderate body, sweetness, and bitterness, while simultaneously quenching people's thirst. The brewing method that avoids the use of spices, which is his commitment, makes this a fascinating summer beer.

[Jandran Brewery 6.5%] A small, small brewery located in the gentle hilly area on the way from Brussels to Liège. The saison beer brewed with dry hopping, where hop flowers are infused even during fermentation, is unique and offers a refreshing taste and a floral, light aroma that is superb.

[Jandelan Brewery 7%] 'Cense' means farm in French. It has a slight reddish hue and is a saison beer created after the Four Saison. In addition to four ingredients, spices are used, and it is said to be a beer that can be experienced through all five human senses, hence the name Five Sense. The same amount of hops as Four Saison is used, and dry hopping is done similarly, but a different recipe with a different type and blend of hops is employed.

[Hugh Brewery 3.6%] A refreshing encounter between white beer and apple. Perfect for quenching your thirst on a sunny afternoon.

[Huyghe Brewery 3.6%] Is raspberry sweet and sour like life?

[Lindemans Brewery 3.5%]
