The mackerel simmered in miso, grilled black cod, and salted oden, all prepared over three days, are infused with umami and make it hard to put down your chopsticks. The selection of drinks, including self-serve beer from the fridge and Junmai Ginjo from Yuki no Bousha, is also substantial, and combined with delicious side dishes, I was able to enjoy a happy time.
