Founded over 40 years ago, Akikatsu is a long-standing establishment that uses red miso directly sourced from a miso brewery in Okazaki, offering renowned tonkatsu. The tonkatsu, fried to a crisp with coarsely ground fresh breadcrumbs, features chewy pork from southern Kyushu, known for its rich flavor. The macaroni salad and miso soup, which enhance the deliciousness of the miso katsu, are also well-received, adding a richer touch to the meal.
