Primrose is a popular Western-style restaurant in Nagasaki where you can enjoy the local specialty, Turkish rice. The dish, featuring a perfect harmony of cutlet, hamburger, and shrimp fry, is beloved by both locals and tourists for its refined flavor. The curry's aroma and the juiciness of the hamburger are particularly exquisite, resulting in sophisticated dishes that can be enjoyed on a daily basis. Its hidden location is also part of its charm, making it a place worth visiting.
A very elegant atmosphere, it was just the two of us, a calm private room, this is what you call Chabana cuisine, flavorful dishes, and the service was also attentive, I was very satisfied.
We used this restaurant with four friends and their spouses.
We were very satisfied with the fresh sashimi and all the dishes were delicious.
It was a little far from Nagasaki station, but we could understand why it was full and crowded. I would like to use this restaurant again when I come to Nagasaki. I am glad I made a reservation at Reserve.
Hifumi-tei is located just a 2-minute walk from Megane Bridge Station in Nagasaki, quietly standing in the serene night streets. The specialty here is the smooth ojiya, enriched with the flavors of bonito and kelp broth, which will leave you in awe after just one taste. Additionally, you can enjoy carefully prepared dishes such as mackerel sashimi and braised pork belly. The warm hospitality will leave a lasting impression, making it a wonderful place you’ll want to visit again.
It is located along Nakajima River, very close to the Megane Bridge, making it easy to find. The interior has a warm Japanese atmosphere, and I was shown to a small raised area on the second floor. The dishes are carefully prepared one by one, and the broth of the mixed vegetable soup has a comforting gentle flavor. The stir-fried chicken gizzards have a nice spicy kick, and the portion is substantial, providing satisfaction. The fresh spring rolls have a pleasant aroma of shiso leaves and are quite filling. The shrimp chili and tofu served as appetizers were also delicious, and the matcha parfait had soft shiratama (rice dumplings) and a good flavor.
Shichirintei is a hidden restaurant in Nagasaki that specializes in salted horumon. The chef's pride, the salted horumon, is free of any unpleasant odors and boasts an exquisite flavor that captivates many food enthusiasts. The interior has a friendly atmosphere, making it a comforting place to visit time and again.
A long-established udon shop where you can enjoy Nagasaki's unique thin noodles
Founded in 1976, Kisuke Udon is a long-standing establishment where you can savor udon made with Nagasaki's distinctive thin noodles. The spacious interior exudes a homely atmosphere that continues to be loved by locals. The extensive menu is also available for use as an izakaya in the evenings. You can enjoy a carefully crafted bowl that preserves the flavors of the previous generation while incorporating new techniques.
The interior has a calm Japanese atmosphere, and its brightness and cleanliness leave a good impression. The owner, who runs the shop alone, is gentle, allowing for a relaxed experience. The lunch options are limited and change every time, making the moment of opening the lid exciting. The presentation is colorful, and the nutritional balance is good, with a sense of care in each dish. The appeal of seafood shines through with dishes like fried and simmered flounder, fragrant tempura of fan shrimp, and fresh hirame sashimi. Even the clear soup with a rich dashi is delicious, leaving a happy sense of satisfaction after the meal.
