This was my first time to try Sanuki udon outside of a chain restaurant. I was surprised that both the udon and the broth were really tasty. The beef in the meat udon was also delicious. Anyway, it was delicious. The kashiwa-ten was 100 times better than at chain restaurants, and I couldn't help but have another bowl. It was fried quickly using good oil, and the inside of the beautifully crispy thin batter was juicy, tender mune meat, which was shockingly delicious.
