When I first entered, I felt relieved by the homely atmosphere. The katsu curry was hearty, with a lot of large vegetables in the sauce, completely hiding the pork cutlet. It was served with a generous amount of shredded cabbage, and I was happy to be able to add dressing or sauce as I liked. The rice served with the set meal was Koshihikari from Uonuma, and I could taste its sweetness with every bite along with the water. The cutlet was sliced thinly, making it easy to eat, and the homemade pickles added a nice accent. I was impressed by the attention to detail, including the pleasant scent of the restroom that wafted by as I was leaving.
