The restaurant had a great location right in front of Lake Hamana. There was a line before opening, and reservations are a must. I ordered the eel rice bowl (premium). The outside was crispy while the inside was soft and delicate. The grilling was just right. The liver soup and the pickled side dishes were all delicious without any shortcomings. The seating area was calm, but the area in front of the register was crowded, and the staff seemed to be having a hard time. The reservation system was good, with email notifications close to the reservation time.

The interior was very clean and new, and although it took a little time for the eel to come out, the smell of it being grilled made me look forward to it. The eel was grilled to perfection and was delicious. The sauce was not too overpowering, and I enjoyed it until the very end.

It is very popular locally and has both a counter and tatami seating. This is a udon shop, but I am happy to be able to enjoy large oysters from Lake Hamana. The fried oysters have a thin and light batter, and when you bite into them, a plump texture and umami spread in your mouth. They are served with a medium-thick sauce instead of tartar sauce, allowing you to fully appreciate the flavor of the oysters. The salad, miso soup, and small side dishes are also well-prepared, resembling a traditional Japanese restaurant. There is also a menu for cold noodles, where you can choose between udon or soba, topped with shrimp, pumpkin, eggplant, bell pepper, tomato, cucumber, and wakame, making for a refreshing experience.
