Since I had made a reservation in advance, the entry and ordering process was very smooth. The owner and the staff were very friendly. The service was kind and attentive. The second-floor restaurant is a bit hard to enter for the first time, but the seating was relatively spacious and clean. I ordered the banana leaf meal. Most of the other customers were eating with their hands. I enjoyed my meal with a spoon among the veterans. Although it was my first time trying all the dishes, everything was delicious! It wasn't too spicy, and the experience of eating on a banana leaf was delightful! My favorite was the 'Paruppu Thuvayal'; the bean paste was flavorful with garlic and had a punch, and it was exquisite when mixed with the other curries. Thank you for the meal. Next, I want to try dosa, parotta, and vada too!

First, let's toast with beer!
Today's recommendation is "Grilled Liver" marinated in sesame oil, grilled repeatedly in an infinite loop.
When you pop it in your mouth at just the right moment, it's pure bliss.
The premium beef tongue is classically delicious!
You can enjoy it refreshingly with black pepper and lemon.
The beef offal stew is salt-based,
and the addition of pumpkin is fresh and new.
With plenty of green onions, it has a comforting flavor.
The cold tofu is topped generously with kimchi, cucumber, and green onions, making it a substantial dish on its own.
The chilled tomatoes are drizzled not with salt but with sweet soy sauce? which is also great!
What was meant to be a palate cleanser turns into something I can't stop eating.
And this time's highlight is "Chiguchi"!
It seems to be the part of the tongue called the "throat". It has a delicious flavor and a crunchy texture like the meat between the cartilage, yet it still retains the essence of tongue.
It's a mysterious and addictive taste that makes for an exciting first experience.
To finish, we have "Cold Noodles with Green Chili Sauce in a Half Portion".
This is quite spicy!
It's refreshingly sharp and irresistible for spice lovers.
I was completely satisfied until the very end♡

This was my first time making a reservation for the '4 people at night - chef's choice menu.' Of course, the stable standard menu was great, but there were also dishes with rare ingredients, and explanations of the ingredients were provided. The members who went with me were also pleased, and I was glad to choose Ryukokushuka. It turned out to be a gathering where we could truly enjoy the meal. Thank you very much!

A native of Yukimura opened this April.
opened in April of this year.
The course was 12,000 yen or 15,000 yen, but we were told it was only 15,000 yen, perhaps because it was winter time. We were told that Matsuba crab could be added for 30,000 yen as an additional charge.
We ordered one bowl of Matsuba Crab, which was about 7,500 yen more per person than the price of Japanese food, which has been rising in recent years, since the price was in the 20,000 yen range including alcohol.
The restaurant is run in a house and the owner lives in the house twice, so perhaps this is one of the reasons why the prices are kept low.
The restaurant is open from January 02, although it is often closed in January.
This is a clean and bright space in a quiet atmosphere of a Japanese restaurant. There are counter seats and table seats, making it easy to relax even if you're alone. The appetizers, such as sesame tofu and simmered jelly, are carefully prepared, which lifts your spirits from the start. The seafood shabu-shabu has a rich aroma of broth, and the homemade sesame sauce and ponzu pair well with it. The grilled head of sea bream and pufferfish are seasoned just right, and they are visually appealing as well. You can enjoy hearty Japanese cuisine in Hatagaya at a leisurely pace, and also savor seasonal seafood.
