Each dish is paired with a suitable broth, allowing the umami to be distinctly felt. The aroma of bonito, in particular, is pleasant, and the aftertaste is clean. The dashimaki tamago (Japanese rolled omelette), assorted oden, and fried eggplant were all comforting in flavor. The chikuwa (fish cake) fried with aosa seaweed and the warm potato salad also left a lasting impression. There is a variety of sake, including dasiwari (sake diluted with broth) and other types, which is a delight for sake lovers. The calm atmosphere of the Japanese setting, with counter seating and areas separated by blinds, allows for various uses.
