This is the standard of deliciousness for all Hōzan series, awarded the highest gold medal at the Monde Selection in 2011. It has a pleasant mouthfeel that allows you to fully appreciate the sweet potato while feeling a roundness, all from a warehouse without a roof. You can enjoy it slowly with traditional hot water dilution, or sip it on the rocks; drink it in your own style. On the rocks, with water, or with hot water.
Aged in our store's pot! The shochu 'Satsuma Jiman', which is said to be the most consumed in Kagoshima, is a sweet potato shochu produced in Kagoshima Prefecture. It boasts top-class popularity even within Kagoshima Prefecture. The deep flavor of the sweet potato and the exquisite taste of its mild sweetness leave a refined aftertaste that you won't tire of. It was named 'Satsuma Jiman' with the hope that it will always be loved by the men of the island (world). Enjoy it on the rocks, with water, or hot.
