In response to many customer requests, we are currently selling the Wakamatsu Hitsumabushi Set! It has received great acclaim! Hitsumabushi is a local dish from the Owari Nagoya region, where grilled eel is finely chopped and mixed with rice. The way to enjoy Hitsumabushi is to divide the rice in the container into four equal parts with a rice paddle. Please enjoy it while experiencing the 'changes in flavor' in four servings. ● For the first serving, enjoy the deliciousness of the eel as it is. ● For the second serving, add condiments such as green onions, wasabi, seaweed, and sansho pepper. ● For the third serving, pour hot dashi over the condiments and enjoy it as ochazuke (rice in tea). ● For the fourth serving, enjoy it again in your favorite way.
New release in 2022! A perfect harmony of grilled eel and crispy rice. Ingredients are placed in a specially heated stone grill pot and enjoyed while being charred. This is the Japanese-style stone-grilled mixed rice. The umami of the grilled eel and the aroma of the crispy rice are exquisite! Please enjoy it hot. The way to eat the stone-grilled eel is as follows: Place the grilled eel from the stone grill pot over the rice, drizzle with Wakamatsu's special eel sauce, and sprinkle with condiments to your liking. Mix the ingredients well with a spoon, char the rice, and serve it hot in a rice bowl. Additionally, there is another delight! Add tororo (grated yam) and egg yolk to the remaining rice and ingredients in the stone grill pot. Adjust the flavor with wasabi, soy sauce, or sauce as desired, and enjoy the stone-grilled eel and tororo rice.
