Sakaguchiya is a charming establishment with an irori (traditional Japanese hearth) where you can enjoy high-quality Hida beef. The 'Ushishi Don' made with rare cuts and the meat sushi are particularly exquisite and loved by many. The Hida soba and cold udon, crafted by skilled artisans, are also well-received, featuring fragrant dishes made with locally sourced buckwheat flour. You can spend a relaxing time while gazing at models of the Takayama Festival stalls.

Hida Beef Nigiri Sushi (Premium) Walking along the old streets of Takayama, you will see one delicious restaurant after another (^o^). Today, there was a limited "Premium" sushi, so we ordered it. It was a small size, but it was served in three pieces. The aroma of the beef being seared and the visual of the sauce on the sushi made me smile. One bite and it melts in your mouth! Long live Hida beef, long live Gifu. Don't let it disappear! It was so delicious that I couldn't help but sigh.
