A diverse taste of Amami with warm hospitality

Narabiya is a heartwarming establishment where you can enjoy the rich cuisine of Amami and black sugar shochu. The handmade jimami tofu and oil somen are all exquisite with delicate flavors. The island songs resonating in the restaurant and the wide selection of drinks provide a pleasant experience for visitors.

The island's cuisine has a gentle flavor and is very delicious. I particularly enjoy the homemade jīmami tofu, which has a delightful texture and is irresistibly tasty. The miso stir-fried eggplant, pig's feet, and oil somen are also rich in flavor, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. Not only is there island cuisine, but there are also familiar dishes like omurice, making it fun to choose. There is a variety of alcoholic beverages available, and the freshly squeezed tankan juice is aromatic and excellent. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable, and it's exciting to encounter the singers as well.

The lineup of brown sugar shochu is abundant, making it fun to choose. The dishes include the classics from Amami, with gentle seasoning that is satisfying even without alcohol. I was pleased to be able to taste a little bit of everything with the set menu, enjoying dishes like oil somen, pork bone, and pickled papaya. There was also fresh juice from tankan, which was very refreshing and left a strong impression. Everything was delicious, from mozuku vinegar and sashimi to goya champuru, fried chicken, and udon. The staff were friendly and approachable, and I could easily consult them about brown sugar shochu.
