The hamburger was fluffy, and I could really taste the richness of the meat. Both the beef and pork for the shabu-shabu were tender, and I enjoyed the change in flavor with ponzu and sesame sauce. The set meal came with small dishes, salad, miso soup, and rice, providing a sense of satisfaction. The rice was Nanatsuboshi from Hokkaido, which paired perfectly with the meat dishes. I also got to taste the colorful appetizers like meat sushi, roast beef, and a dish with tofu topped with meat miso. I was shown to a private room, allowing me to enjoy my meal leisurely.

Shabu-shabu Shotai-an's best course meal! This special course includes our famous "drinkable hamburger steak". Wagyu beef sirloin and lean thigh for shabu-shabu, and shoulder loin for sukiyaki style. Please also enjoy appetizers with a Japanese flair. For dessert, we will serve kombu-sui tsukemen (tsukemen noodles with kelp water), which is different from regular tsukemen.
