The last time I had the omakase course, I was satisfied both physically and mentally with the dishes that made the most of the flavors of the ingredients. I especially liked the kabocha spring rolls, which were crispy and chewy. The sweetness of the corn in the hamo and corn chawanmushi with more dashi (Japanese soup stock) was the best part of the dish. The fish in the temarizushi and soup bowl was thick and filling, and the sourness of the cucumber in the upper left corner matched the rice and was my favorite. The sesame pudding was great, with plenty of black sesame paste, rich and in its place. The additional kuzumochi was freshly kneaded and hot and plump, and the kinako (soybean flour) had a strong flavor.
