First visit in about 10 years. The restaurant said that they have been losing customers recently and that they basically do not stock fish. I wanted to try the tongue flatfish meuniere. Although the number of customers has been decreasing, we enjoyed the same delicious rillette, lasagna, and beef cheeks stewed in red wine. The desserts, which the madam said she would get angry if we didn't eat, were all delicious. I hope there will be good old restaurants like this in 10 to 20 years, but it seems to be difficult. The restaurant is not over-serviced or decorated in a showy way, but it is very comfortable.

This restaurant has a long history and is famous among French gourmets. It is not easily accessible during dinner time because of its high price, but lunch is reasonable. I chose "DON Déjeuner A" from the menu. It includes chicken liver mousse and a main dish of spicy braised lamb. You can have another helping of the homemade bread.
