I used it again. The quality of the food and the level of service remain high, and I was satisfied once again. In particular, the spring rolls with cod roe were an outstanding dish that left the biggest impression on me. The rich deliciousness of the cod roe combined with the aroma of the vegetables, and the subtle accent of the mullet roe was wonderful. It was delicious on its own, but when paired with the accompanying balsamic sauce, the umami remained while the acidity added a wonderful depth of flavor. If it's on the menu again, I will definitely want to eat it.
The shop has a compact design with only a counter. There are many places to put your bags and hangers, so it's not a problem even if you have a lot of luggage.
Each person can use their own pot, allowing you to enjoy sukiyaki at your own pace and to your preferred level of heat. The first piece of meat can be cooked by a professional, and they prepare it deliciously, which also serves as a good barometer for the heat level for the second piece and beyond!
The 100g of meat comes in two pieces, but one piece is incredibly large, making it very satisfying to eat. It also comes with miso soup, unlimited rice, and plenty of vegetables and tofu, which made for a very satisfying experience!
When we visited after a long time, the course price had gone up and was about 40,000 yen for two drinks.
The bill was about 2,000 yen higher than the bill of the person I went with, even though we had the same drinks, so it appears that the credit card companies are adding on the higher fees.
And the food is good. And the food is good, and generally warm or hot.
I thought back to the fact that this is what cooking is all about.
The next reservation is already made for next January.
This year I made reservations every three months, and last year I made one, but I didn't want to make reservations too far in advance, so I didn't make one for next year.

The president gave me the opportunity to visit the hard-to-reserve restaurant 🙌🙌
It was horribly delicious 🙌‼️
From the first tuna to the last ball, it grabbed my stomach from start to finish 🙌🙌
The rice, made with a combination of two types of red vinegar, was not too sweet and worked wonderfully with the fish 🙌🙌🙌 ‼️ I was also impressed with the firmness and grip of the rice 🙌🙌🙌🙌!
The owner's light-hearted and unpretentious talk even though the restaurant has 2 Michelin stars 🙆🙆.

Nishiazabu, where this restaurant is located, is lined with many famous restaurants. Amidst such rivals, this restaurant is a kappo (Japanese cooking) restaurant that is hidden in plain sight and is known only to those in the know. The restaurant's menu is a rather aggressive stance, offering only one type of omakase course. However, the menu is luxurious and includes seasonal vegetables, suppon (a kind of fish), grilled bonito, and rice in an earthenware pot. The price is a little expensive at around 18,000 yen, but it is a sufficient dish!

The Kosaka chicken was wonderful. We enjoyed the various parts of the chicken. The herb salad from Kajitani Farm was fragrant and the egg pudding from Tanaka Farms was a real treat.
The owner of the grill was very attentive to the timing of our order....
However, it was a pleasure to be able to talk with the owner.
I will revisit.
A stylish and sophisticated comfortable space. Chef Sommelier Taguchi is a charming person with a cool sense of humor and a passionate vibe. To put it metaphorically, like a blue flame burning. He prepares the dishes you most want to eat in the most delicious way. The selected pairing wines are also very lovely. It is recommended to leave everything, both the dishes and the wine, to them with the simple desire to eat delicious food. I had a very happy time. (Note: The wine is for 2 people with 11 types. The amount includes several beers and water-based drinks ordered.)
