The calm counter is very comfortable. The appetizers, such as the white fish tofu and the sweetfish marinated in vinegar, were carefully prepared, and I could even enjoy the aroma of pine needles. The oysters were enhanced by the salt, and they paired perfectly with white wine. I particularly liked the nigiri with red snapper and spear squid, and the combination of salt and yuzu was exquisite. The grilled sea bream with sansho pepper, homemade karasumi miso, and steamed abalone with liver were also flavors that complemented the sake well. There is a wide variety of sake, and the attentiveness of the chef and staff is kind, making for an enjoyable experience.

The course allows you to enjoy seasonal fish little by little, and the presentation is beautiful. Between the sushi, there are side dishes that make the experience exciting while enjoying drinks. The monkfish liver tofu and the sea bream flavored with Arima sansho were particularly impressive. The homemade karasumi miso pickles are moist and fragrant, making them perfect for snacking. The dish with young conger eel and the steamed abalone with liver are also rare and enjoyable. The calm interior with only a counter and the attentive staff create a pleasant atmosphere.
