When I casually walked in, the interior was bright and created a calming atmosphere, which lifted my spirits from the start. The highball I ordered first was refreshing, raising my expectations for the food. The snacks, such as the firefly squid marinated in soy sauce and the fried chikuwa, were aromatic and made me want to keep drinking. The plump flounder sashimi and homemade chicken shumai were also impressive, showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The curry we had at the end was moderately spicy and rich, making it hard to put down my spoon. I think it's a very satisfying izakaya where you can drop by easily, and both the food and drinks are always a hit.
