The atmosphere of the restaurant was normal. You can spend your time without any tension on your shoulders. The waitstaff is also very friendly.
The menu for the four of us was as follows
(1) Mouth water chicken
It was a little spicy and tasted good.
(2) Bluefin squid with green onion and pepper sauce.
Squid is one of my favorite ingredients, so I was very happy.
(3) Thick and juicy sweet pork cubes with Zhenjiang black vinegar
This is a signature dish and has a great impact. The strong flavor goes well with sake. It also goes well with rice. I would like to try it mixed with rice.
Steamed fish of the day with pickled olives and mustard greens in Chinese soy sauce
My greatest expectation was here. Chinese soy sauce is good. It has a deep taste that I like. The fish is moist and delicious.
5) Lao Tiger Cuisine's special dumplings (12 pieces)
This was also as expected. You can eat them without dipping them in anything.
⑥Soba noodles with fried pork and white onion
This was too small for 4 of us to share, so we should have ordered 2 servings.
7) Four kinds of desserts
Each of the four of us ordered something different, so it was fun.
However, what is disappointing is that the drinks (with alcohol) are very thin. I wish they would double the amount of alcohol.
We visited at lunch time for two adults with advance reservations. The seating was well spaced.
We had a hard time deciding between the many items on the menu, but we ordered the daily lunch, the Szechuan Bean Curd Lunch and dessert.
The soup, salad, and spring rolls that were first brought to us on a tray were all delicious, and the salad dressing was impressive.
The main dishes were also very tender and tasty, and the Szechuan bean curd was very good, not too spicy but just the right amount of hot.
The dessert menu is written on the blackboard, and it all looked so delicious that I was torn between them, but I decided on the apricot jelly sauce and the two kinds of sesame seed dumplings. The apricot bean curd tasted authentic, the sesame dumplings were freshly fried and hot, and the sweetness and bright colors of the filling were wonderful.
I was told that the restaurant will be relocating, but even so, it is not that far away, so I would like to make a reservation to visit the restaurant again.
The drinks were served quickly and the food was served just right.
Also, the wait staff was very responsive and quite satisfactory.
It was also nice that we were able to take home some of the food that we could not finish.
