What kind of restaurant is this? Shall we go to some ramen shop? My partner who has a craving for ramen! Of all the ramen shops he wanted to go to, he decided to go to this one, Zagin! I was interested in the pure white soup and the kappo-style interior. The place is about a 5 minute walk southwest from Higobashi station. When I arrived at the restaurant, it really didn't look like a ramen shop! I think even women can go in there. There is a menu and a ticket vending machine in front of the entrance, so the first thing to do is to buy a meal ticket! There were three people waiting when I visited, but I guess my timing was good, because I was able to enter the restaurant in about 10 minutes! When I entered the restaurant, I was still surprised! It's not a ramen restaurant! The restaurant staff is dressed in white for men, kimono for women, and kappo-style for women! The chic restaurant with only a counter is truly a kappo, a small restaurant! But the menu is ramen! I ordered the Chicken Soba 850 yen! My partner ordered Chicken, Shrimp and Niboshi Soba 850 yen and Chicken Rice (small) 200 yen! The water cup is ceramic, and everything is uniform! After a while, my Chicken Soba arrived. It appeared in a nice bowl container! The soup was pure white chicken broth, topped with potherb mustard, bamboo shoots, rare chicken and pork shoulder pork, and fried burdock slices! Before serving, was that a hand mixer that was win-win? It had a bubbly, potage-like texture, like I wasn't eating ramen! The chicken is not overpowering, but gently done for a woman's liking. I wish the noodles had a little more assertiveness, but I think they are weak as a presence. It's nice to be able to taste two different kinds of rare pork, moist and juicy! And the most assertive was the burdock. The aroma, appearance, and taste of burdock were enjoyed a lot! I love burdock, so this was a new kind of ramen! My partner, on the other hand, seemed to be mmmm... ・・・・ He said the soup was too lukewarm and he wanted the noodles to have the firmness of homemade noodles. I guess men and women have different tastes! They seemed to really enjoy the takikomi gohan with chicken, and talked about it all the time (laugh). I was satisfied because I had always wanted to visit this restaurant! I really think it's okay for a woman to go alone here! I wish there were more stores like this! Thank you for the meal!
