As expected, Tokyo's bakery is a shanty ♫
Tokyo Review 12
I bought some souvenirs at Tokyo Daimaru and came to Shin-Marunouchi to buy some bread!
Yes! This is the store here♪
The last time I was in Tokyo, I happened to find it by chance, and it was delicious, so I decided to revisit!
(Last time, I was new to food logs, so I didn't search for it...)
It was just lunch time and there were a lot of people working from the top!
The crowd is really amazing.
Maybe because I found it by chance once, I got a little lost when I went there with enough time to spare this time.
I went around in the Marunouchi area......it's no good if you don't know where you're going....
A lot of breads are lined up!
You ask the waiter, and he takes it from you.
The waiter is dressed in stylish clothes (like a waiter) and is very nervous when you order!
I wanted to buy a lot of clothes, but I only bought two kinds...
Petonkulu
Look at this! These delicate jagged edges...
You could almost call it a work of art... ♪
It's a cream bun!
The inside is brown sugar cream, and it's this color, but it's so delicious!
Maybe it's because it's brown sugar, but it's not too sweet and has a deep taste.
The dough is Danish, so it is crispy!
This layer gives it a nice texture and is delicious!
Maple
It has a nice aroma!
The bread is kneaded with maple, so it is slightly sweet!
The dough seems too moist!
Your mouth will be filled with the tenderness of maple!
When I bought the bread, a bread menu was also enclosed!
It includes a description of each bread and instructions on how to heat up the bread!
I wish all bakeries in Japan would do this!
I can buy this the next time I go there!
It's a hassle, but I'm glad I have it.
Now, come on, let's go back to the bread!
Tokyo Review Day 2
Chiba-ya → Signifiant Signifie at Nihombashi Takashimaya → Nenrin-ke at Daimaru Tokyo → Gin no Budou at Daimaru Tokyo → here
Impressed with the square bread!
Visited on a weekday.
Even on a weekday, there is still a line.
I stood in line from 3:30 p.m. and was able to purchase the bread at 4:10 p.m.. I was able to buy it early because there seemed to be a cancellation.
If there had been no cancellation, I would have had to wait at least 30 minutes.
Purchase
Bread cubes
There were only bread cubes left.
I wanted to try them all.
I returned home and ate it.
It was surprisingly soft, so it was difficult to cut without a bread knife.
It is so soft that it shrinks a little after a while. But it doesn't mean that the taste is lost.
First of all, I took a bite of it as it is.
Delicious! Amazing softness.
I have never experienced this texture before. I can also taste a hint of wheat, but the moistness is amazing, probably due to the use of nonfat milk.
You can also taste a strong sweetness and a hint of saltiness.
When baked, the texture changes again, and it is also delicious. I can't stop being impressed.
I didn't know such a bread existed. It is completely Japanese taste, but I think it is a wonderful perfection.
It was worth the wait in line.
Next time I will go a little earlier and try Pullman and English.
The customer service was very attentive and the language and attitude towards the people in line was kind.
They even handed out warmers to all the customers in line.
Total good store.
