Great restaurant with great tuna!
This was my first visit to this restaurant.
I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant because it is hard to get a reservation.
We had the omakase course.
We started with snacks and then nigiri.
I was worried that it would be too much, but there was plenty of room.
It was just a little too much.
I was satisfied that I was able to eat various delicious parts of tuna!
They all melted right away and were irresistible.
Too bad there was no sea urchin.
It was 3500 yen for tea only.
Not particularly impressive, just plain delicious. Thank you very much.

Thanks to the hard rice, the flavor of the tuna can be enjoyed in the mouth for a long time. It is very good that you can eat the chutoro (medium fatty tuna) from both the back and belly. The Spanish mackerel is also good.
The sushi is a bit large, so you feel full to the brim.
Tuna and sea urchin are the highlight at this restaurant @ Higashi-Azabu
Sushi Sugaya. The owner is from Sushi Arai. The beautifully arranged tunas including Ootoro, Chutoro and Akami are of a quality that is hard to find anywhere else ✨ The heaping pile of sea urchin that seems to be falling apart but doesn't ✨ is now a specialty at ⁉️ and I can't stop thrilling myself. It's only March, but reservations for the rest of the year are full😅.
If you like sushi, you must visit this place at least once.
I'm sure you'll love it.

This is the place to go to worship the rumored sea urchin tower🗼 @ Higashi-Azabu
Sushi Sugaya. The handsome, razor-sharp owner hails from Sushi Arai. On this day, we had the chance to try different parts of the tuna caught near Oma, as well as a generous portion of fresh salmon roe. And the famous sea urchin tower ❗️ is usually served with two kinds of sea urchin, but this day they happened to serve three kinds 🤣 The amount of tuna for the rice roll was also generous 😆✨ It is very popular and will be served next year, of course. Next year when the cherry blossoms are in bloom 😋.
The next one will be next year when the cherry blossoms bloom 😋.

They are fully booked for the year and will accept reservations for next year in September.
The price for a beer and a few glasses of sake was about 37,000 yen, which I guessed was a little higher than other restaurants.
The last time I was there, in January of this year, the white meat was quite good, and it was in a strong shari. I was probably more satisfied last time than when I went last night.
