This set menu includes our signature kamitsuchi bento and Asuka nabe, Nara's local dish, in a small pot for one person. Enjoy a relaxing Japanese-style experience centering on the bento, which is made from carefully selected ingredients, and Asuka nabe, a gently flavored dish. The name "Ikoma" comes from Mt. Ikoma, which is located on the border between Nara and Osaka, and the name was chosen to make the meal as friendly and comforting as the mountain that has watched over the comings and goings of people and their lives since ancient times.
This is our basic bento box lunch box, colorfully packed with seasonal ingredients in a pentagonal shape. The name "kamitsumichi" comes from the fact that the road in front of our restaurant is the starting point of an ancient road called "Kamitsumichi. You can enjoy the taste of Nara along with freshly fried tempura. This pentagonal bento box was first handled by our predecessor with the idea of "taking the corners and getting along together". The staff also calls this basic shaped bento box "Kasuga". The name is a reference to the general name for Mount Hanayama and Mount Mikata, both overlooking the east side of Nara-machi, and is superimposed on the familiar scenery of daily life.
The pentagonal bento box is filled with a colorful assortment of seasonal ingredients in a kamitsuchi bento dish without tempura. The ingredients are carefully selected for their gentle flavors. The name "Wakakusa" is a reference to Mt. Wakakusa, a lovely mountain beyond Nara Park, and is named after the gentle landscape surrounded by soft greenery.
Shochu made from sake lees produced in Nara. This shochu has a fragrant aroma of sake lees. It is the sacred sake offered to the rice paddy god after rice planting, known as kasu tori shochu.
This is our proud Matsukado bento filled with ancient cheese 'Su', persimmon vinegar from Nishiyoshino, and kudzu tofu (yomogi tofu, fava bean tofu, tomato tofu, etc. changing monthly), along with Yamato vegetables (Yamato mana, Yamato yam) using ingredients from Nara. The bento without tempura is 2,640 yen. Additionally, we have a popular plan where you can add 'Asuka Nabe' to the 'Kamitsumichi Bento' with a reservation. [From April of the 8th year of Reiwa, Kamitsumichi Bento with tempura is 4,070 yen] [Same as above, Kamitsumichi Bento without tempura is 3,080 yen]
