A good wine is one that honestly expresses the individuality of the grapes nurtured by the climate, soil, and producers of its region. Chateau Mercian has pursued a uniqueness that can only be expressed through Japanese wine based on this belief. The style we have arrived at is 'Finesse & Elegance' (a harmonious and refined taste). Since the 1970s, we have sought suitable cultivation areas for grape varieties, forming production areas across Japan, and working closely with contracted farmers to cultivate grapes suited to the wines we aim to create. The results are high-quality grapes that highlight the individuality of each production area, leading to the unique taste and character of Chateau Mercian. Chateau Mercian, nurtured in Japanese soil, pairs excellently with Japan's traditional dish 'Tempura.' We invite you to try it with our heartfelt tempura dishes.
