Originally from Hyogo Prefecture. After working at restaurants in Kobe and Takamatsu, Shikoku, he joined the teppanyaki section of the Japanese restaurant 'Genji' when Hilton Nagoya opened in 1989. He gained popularity for his solid skills and witty talk. After that, he gained experience in French, Italian, and Asian cuisine at the main kitchen of Hilton Nagoya, the brasserie 'The Terrace', expanding his skills and knowledge in a variety of international cuisines. His high level of both Japanese and Western culinary techniques, honed over many years of experience, and his creativity stemming from a broad knowledge base led to his appointment as the head chef of teppanyaki at 'Genji' in 2016.
Originally from Aichi Prefecture. He started his career at a steakhouse in Gion, Kyoto, providing teppanyaki cuisine to discerning Japanese diners and many foreign tourists. After joining Hilton Nagoya in 1997, he has continued to hone his skills exclusively in teppanyaki at the Japanese restaurant 'Genji.' With a sommelier qualification and a rich international perspective, he responds to guests' needs through various approaches, including proposing wine and food pairings. His hobbies are golf and watching movies.
Originally from Aichi Prefecture. Joined Hilton Nagoya in 1998. After gaining experience in the hotel's French restaurant and banquet/wedding kitchen, he became a teppanyaki chef at the Japanese restaurant 'Genji' in 2016. Known for his delicate grilling skills acquired through his experience in wedding cuisine and French restaurants, he offers a unique take on teppanyaki dishes. With the belief that 'meals and anniversaries with loved ones should be memorable,' which he has held since his time in wedding cuisine, he stands at the counter every day. His hobbies include senryu (a form of Japanese poetry), pure literature, and snowboarding.
