Nostalgic pudding After our curry lunch, we wanted something sweet, so we went to a nearby coffee shop to enjoy a cup of coffee. The store is a rather stylish café (?). When we entered the cafe, we were greeted by a very impressive mama! WOW! The restaurant was full of people who looked like businessmen since it was still lunch time! Moreover, the first floor was like a smoking room and was filled with cigarette smoke! (*_*) I was told that a seat in the back of the smoking room was available, but I preferred the non-smoking room, so I had to wait for a while. After a while, I was guided to a non-smoking room on the second floor. The menu is full of old-fashioned dishes! The prices are cheap, too!　I guess that's why it's so popular! I would have loved to have some teppan Italian food, but I was too full, so I ordered custard pudding! This pudding is also a hard pudding of the old-fashioned type! A simple pudding with bright red cherries and cream on top! But it was handmade with plenty of eggs, sweet and tasty! I ordered a cup of tea and it came with a lemon cake! I got one for my friend and took it home. It's full of Showa-era atmosphere, which makes me feel a bit warm and fuzzy. New stylish cafes are good, but I also like this kind of place a lot! I want to visit again for Italian food!
