Was ist Japan?: Japan’s dining scene is often described as a dialogue between seasons, craftsmanship, and regional identity. From sushi, tempura, and kaiseki to ramen, yakitori, and wagashi, menus tend to highlight clarity of flavor and careful presentation. Travelers may notice distinct local styles: Hokkaido’s seafood, Tohoku’s comfort stews, Tokyo’s soba and modern interpretations, Kansai’s okonomiyaki and kushikatsu, Shikoku’s udon, Kyushu’s tonkotsu ramen, and Okinawa’s island influences. Many venues emphasize dashi, fermented seasonings such as miso and soy sauce, and precise knife work. A tradition linked to tea ceremony hospitality is said to shape the understated service and attention to detail found in many dining rooms. Street-side counters, casual izakaya, and refined multicourse experiences coexist, encouraging spontaneous tastings and planned outings alike. Seasonal specials, chef’s selections, and collaborative pop-ups appear in various neighborhoods, suggesting a food culture that balances heritage with ongoing creativity.

It has a calm atmosphere, and there is a sense of specialness even before entering. The private rooms are spacious, and the seating arrangement allows for easy conversation without being too face-to-face. The dishes are not only beautiful in appearance but also have a careful taste that left me satisfied. The staff in kimonos have graceful manners and speech, and they even took photos and handed them to us on the spot. With the call bell, we could coordinate drinks and the progression of the course, allowing us to enjoy our conversation at a leisurely pace. There is also consideration for families with children, and it is conveniently located close to the station.

I never thought the day would come when I would finally be able to visit... @ Kitashinchi
There is a restaurant that I have been longing to visit for a long time!
The genre is sushi!
The most famous sushi restaurant in Osaka!
Sushi Restaurant Tada
No first-time customers, introductions are required.
Even if you want to go there, you have to have someone who has been there before.
This time, one of our regular customers reserved a private table for us, and we were able to join him!
In case you are interested, you are not allowed to take pictures here.
But when it's a private party, you can take as many pictures as you want!
Of course, I have permission to take pictures!
This is the story of our visit in March.
I'd like to upload some of the great restaurants I've put off for the rest of 2019!
It's like a commemoration of my visit to Tada-san!
I'll write about the dishes and the notes I took.
Today's story case
I'm so excited to see how this story will be cooked!
Toast with bubbles!
Mr. Tada is an ambassador of KRUG, sorry... I freaked out and decided to go with this bubbly!

The famous squid geso nigiri is sprinkled with snow salt one by one, just like snow! High-tech at a sushi restaurant! The wakame shabu shabu was so delicious that it made me wonder what kind of wakame I had eaten before. It was so delicious that I wondered what wakame I had eaten before! The eggs are a privilege of one of the sections of the restaurant, and each egg is stamped with a freshly baked stamp, which is a symbol of KRUG's hope that Hanshin will win! There is also a KRUG version of the imprint! He not only serves dishes but also entertains us with his at-home kindness and boldness. No wonder he has many fans. I can't come here regularly, but I would like to visit again sometime as a reward for my hard work. Thank you for the food.

It was really delicious. Since I'm from Osaka, I think it's enviable for people in Nagoya to be able to go there often. But I will go again in the near future.
