~Tea set to enjoy the "color" and "aroma On Tuesdays only, we offer four types of Japanese tea (matcha, sencha, hojicha, and genmaicha) provided by Morihan, a long-established tea shop in Uji, founded in 1836, and five Japanese and Western sweets that enhance the "aroma" of the tea. To enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurant and the appearance of the tea sets, guests are invited to the Japanese-style room on the second floor (black tatami mats and marble tables), which is usually used only for reservations, and to arrange the "color" of the tea sets themselves, matcha is served in ceramic, red Masu or champagne glasses. Enjoy a special moment in a traditional Kyoto machiya in Gion, Kyoto.
~Enjoy Kyoto's food culture from appetizers to dolce - Kyoto Italian cuisine Our chef has created a Kyo-Italian menu featuring the representative culinary culture of Kyoto: dashi (Japanese soup stock), shiro-miso (white miso paste), sakekasu (sake lees), and matcha (powdered green tea). We hope you will enjoy "Kyoto in Spring" with our signature dishes, and we have included "Kyoto's food culture" in the course content. The rich matcha green tea dolce is a hearty dish with several different flavors so that you can enjoy everything from the meal to the café at our restaurant alone. We use the best ingredients from Kyoto's long-established restaurants so that you can experience the flavors, history, and culture of Kyoto, as well as the cooking methods used in our dishes.
We have renewed our most popular "GION Course" so that you can enjoy Kyoto in spring. The chef has created a new course with colorful plates and arrangements that give you a sense of "spring," and has used an abundance of spring ingredients to create a new course that will allow you to enjoy Kyoto in spring to the very end. We have also prepared the chef's recommended drinks to accompany the course meal, so please enjoy them with us.
This is a full-course meal with two main courses of "fish" and "meat" dishes carefully selected by the chef. Please enjoy Kyoto in winter with the chef's full-course menu, which is richly decorated with colorful plates and platters that give you a sense of "winter" and abundant use of winter ingredients. The chef has also prepared a selection of recommended drinks to accompany the course meal, so please enjoy them with us.
