You can savor a series of dishes including thinly sliced fugu, fried dishes, fugu hot pot, and finishing with a rice porridge, leaving you satisfied. The freshly prepared fish is so fresh that it still moves, which is both surprising and exciting. After the renovation, there are now table seats, making it easy to spend time even in a wheelchair. The staff is kind, and I was able to thoroughly enjoy the homemade dessert after the meal.
The thin udon noodles are smooth and have a very good texture. The shrimp tempura and chicken tempura are crispy and light, perfectly complementing the udon. The bokkake is soft and tender, with a strong umami flavor from the broth. The cold bukkake is refreshing with grated daikon and sudachi, keeping it interesting until the end. The curry udon has a moderate spiciness from the spices, and the aroma spreads gently. The small interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and there are also a la carte options, allowing for a relaxed evening experience.
It is easy to walk from the station, and once you enter, there is a warmth of wood that allows you to relax. The staff is kind, and communication in Japanese is smooth; they even ask about your preference for cilantro at the beginning. The beef pho has a clear flavor, and the combination of beef, meatballs, onions, and cilantro makes it delicious until the end. Adding a separate plate of herbs and lettuce, and finishing it off with black pepper and lemon is also enjoyable. The fresh spring rolls and fried spring rolls are filled generously, and the crispy texture and the delicious sauce make it hard to stop eating. I also enjoyed the garlic fish sauce fried chicken set and the flavor change with the garlic vinegar on the table, as well as the refreshing aroma of the tea.
Yoshitori Kousokunagata Ekimae is a beloved yakitori izakaya located in a prime spot near the station, frequented by many locals. The spacious interior allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of drinks and dishes. The quick service is particularly praised, creating a homey atmosphere that makes you want to visit again and again. As a lively and casual place, it offers a perfect retreat for many to unwind after a long day.
Grill Odaya is one of my favorite restaurants in Kobe. It is a clean restaurant that is perfect for everyday use, even for a single woman. The location is near Nagata Shrine and Murano Technical High School, and will be familiar to Kobe natives. It is a wonderful restaurant filled with family smiles and satisfies both the heart and the stomach.
