■The taste you enjoy with your eyes is also good! SANTA-LUCIA: Italian food that teaches us that true taste is something to be savored with the eyes! SANTA-LUCIA ♦︎Higobashi Sta. 4 minutes walk from Higobashi station. Italian restaurant "SANTA-LUCIA" selected as TOP5000 in the food log. Here you can see the kitchen from the street and watch the chef at work. (Santa Lucia is the name of a place in Naples, so is the chef from Naples?) ) I had wanted to visit this restaurant someday because of its power and the restaurant's simple residence. Because the area around Higobashi Station is an off-the-beaten-track area, there are no people there on Saturdays and Sundays. Therefore, it is often possible to enter the famous restaurant without waiting in line too long! The restaurant consists of the second floor and the first floor (terrace seats). This time we were guided to the terrace seats. While the sun shines in, there are many shadowy areas, creating a dark and unique atmosphere. Menu ♦A Lunch 1,320 yen (Today's soup, assorted appetizers, today's pasta) 1320 yen for this much menu is reasonable! The appetizer platter and soup came together. The carrots are pickled and quite sour. The rice is a mixture of sea chicken and mayonnaise, with a buttery flavor. The egg omelette has a seafood-style broth and a unique richness that spreads in the mouth. The stew is stew-like. It has an aroma as if it were fried with plenty of butter. Pasta is pasta with beef soup. The soup is seasoned with the flavor of beef. The sourness of the meat and the flavor of the oil are well blended into the soup. The strong acidity, like that of Sanratang, extends with the flavor until the end of the meal. The pasta is thin and easy to eat like somen noodles. However, it is not as easy to chew as somen, so it is very satisfying to eat. It is such a unique pasta. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is nice! Not only the terrace seats, but also the upstairs seats look stylish. I would like to go here several times to try various pasta dishes. Thank you very much.

I think the food was generally too salty and the portions were small. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, resembling a place in Naples, but the plates for the food were chipped, and the speed of service was extremely fast, making it not a place to enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace. They seem to prioritize turnover, but I wondered why it has such a high rating.
