The time spent watching the skewers being grilled over charcoal from behind the counter is very enjoyable. Each skewer is perfectly cooked, and I was impressed by the moistness of the chicken breast and the chicken thigh. The liver is rich yet free of any unpleasant odor, with only the umami flavor spreading throughout my mouth. The colorful small dishes and palate cleansers that appear in between are not only visually beautiful but also deeply flavorful. Surprising combinations like chawanmushi with foie gras and corn rice cooked in a clay pot were astonishingly delicious. I was able to enjoy my meal in a calm atmosphere and left feeling happy.

The best yakitori is made from selected "Kuro Satsuma Chicken," a locally raised chicken from Kagoshima, and is expertly grilled with the aroma of Tosa Binchotan charcoal. The refined taste of the dish is served with seasonal vegetables full of flavor and delicate a la carte dishes that make the most of the bounty of the land in a course priced at 8,800 yen.
