Hakata Mizutaki Specialty Restaurant "Orange," a hidden gem in Fukuoka
The restaurant, lit up with indirect lighting, has an elegant and stylish atmosphere. The restaurant is proud of its "Mizutaki" (chicken stew), in which the flavorful extract of chicken is concentrated in the soup. The "karaage" (fried chicken), a signature dish along with mizutaki, is made from Japanese young chicken breast, and the batter is crispy and juicy inside. We hope you will enjoy our excellent mizutaki and karaage along with our carefully selected sake.

The menu is relatively simple, with only one set meal. The food is delicious, and the service is also very good, but the dining time seems a bit rushed, as the entire set meal was served in about an hour, which slightly affected the experience.
The overall atmosphere is very good, and the staff is very thoughtful and friendly. The explanations are detailed and considerate, making people feel relaxed and comfortable. In terms of the cuisine, the control of cooking time is very precise, and you can clearly feel that each dish is cooked to perfection with attention to detail. From the presentation of the dishes, it is evident that there is a standard and rigorous cooking process behind each delicacy, making the overall dining experience more complete and impressive. It is highly recommended to try when in Fukuoka, and after tasting, you can take a walk in the nearby Ohori Park.
The soup for the chicken hot pot was delicious!
As time went on, the flavor changed, and towards the end, it was a rich chicken broth as it was.
When made into a rice porridge, it was the best with the rich chicken broth and beaten egg.
It was almost full with reservations as soon as the restaurant opened.
The meatballs had the texture and sweetness of onions added, and they were delicious.
The meat on the bone was tender and falling off, and the vegetables simmered in the chicken broth were also very tasty.
I ordered the fried chicken one by one and ate them.
It was well-seasoned with salt, the chicken breast was tender, and it was delicious.
I want to go again (laughs).
The food tasted quite good, the chicken flavor was sufficient and it was smooth enough, the chicken soup was delicious, but the service was relatively average. Throughout the meal, except for the last serving, it was all served by the staff. The pace controlled by the staff made everyone feel a bit rushed while eating. The leftover chicken soup was actually meant to have rice added to it. After the staff finished serving the last dishes, they told us to divide the leftovers ourselves and left without mentioning that they would make a rice soup. As a result, we finished dividing the dishes and soup ourselves, and only then did the staff come over to say that there was rice to add. However, everyone was already full, so it was fine. I do not recommend this place for those who want to enjoy their food slowly.
The food is delicious, and the service staff is great, but I suggest that the checkout staff should be the same person. I am not Japanese, and I have already checked out with one staff member, but when I was leaving, other staff members kept asking me if I had checked out. I said yes, but they still didn't quite believe me, which I think is a bit of a drawback.
One game! Mizutaki!
Mizutaki ONLY!
What a surprise! Lunch and dinner are the same menu! Inevitably, lunch is also in the same price range.
We are so confident!
The night menu is very reasonable, but the lunch menu is not so good.
The same people work and serve lunch and dinner, so it's only logical that the prices stay the same.
Lunch is by default a bargain...
So, actually, I go to W both night and day.
I know my posts overlap, but I imagine both are basically the same!
The taste is unmistakable. I think that the standard of Mizutaki will be Orange-san from now on. I'm sure that Mizutaki will become the standard for Mizutaki in the future!
Check it out!
The perfect combination of food and service
From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was attracted by the warm atmosphere here. What impressed me even more was the staff's enthusiasm and attention to detail, which was truly meticulous. They not only served the dishes quickly but also provided detailed introductions to each dish, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of every culinary creation. During the dining process, they were always able to assist at the right moment, such as noticing my water glass was empty and immediately coming over to refill it; even when they noticed I had questions about a particular dish, their proactive and positive service attitude was highly commendable.
Of course, the most important thing is that the food here is delicious and unforgettable. Each dish reflects the chef's dedication, with fresh ingredients and unique cooking techniques. Especially their signature water-cooked pot, every bite is full of layers, with tender and juicy meat that truly makes it hard to stop eating. Paired with ice water, it elevates the overall taste experience to another level.
Overall, this restaurant not only offers top-notch delicious dishes but also, through enthusiastic and attentive service, makes the entire dining experience filled with joy and comfort. I highly recommend it to all friends seeking great food and quality service; this place is definitely worth visiting again and again!
